Biography

Faxon is an American professional golfer, winning eight times on the PGA Tour and playing on two Ryder Cup teams. Faxon built a reputation as one of the best pure putters in golf history leading the PGA Tour in Putting Average in 1996, 1999 and 2000.

In 2010, Faxon worked for NBC as an analyst on golf broadcasts during the season. He was also featured on multiple episodes of The Golf Channel’s Golf Channel Academy, educating viewers on putting fundamentals and short game skills. In 2014, Faxon joined The Golf Channel as an analyst on golf broadcasts during the season.

Aside from his success on course, Faxon has been one of the game's most generous figures. Together with Tour Pro Billy Andrade, the pair established Billy Andrade/Brad Faxon Charities for Children, Inc., a nonprofit that has donated over $3 million to children in Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts. Faxon also runs junior golf foundation.
