Chris is best known for his Academy Award-winning performance in the Spike Jonze film Adaptation, opposite Meryl Streep. His other credits include American Beauty, Syriana, Jarhead, The Company Men, and Seabiscut, for which he received a Screen Actors Guild nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role. Chris has also received an Emmy nomination for his portrayal of “Thomas Riversmith” in the HBO television movie My House in Umbria.
