Bestselling Dance-Pop Artist & Reality TV Star
You know you're a music success when you’ve raked in a whopping nine #1’s on the US Billboard dance club chart without a major label machine behind you. You know you’re even a bigger success when your fanbase includes mega-stars like Ariana Grande and Christina Aguliera, and major publications like Cosmopolitan, Vogue and the LA Times are knocking on your door to get up close and personal.
That is exactly where dance-pop / reality TV star Erika Jayne is today.
The artist hit the dance club scene with 2007's "Rollercoaster," which quickly hit #1 on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play chart, followed by eight more #1’s: "Stars," "Give You Everything," "Pretty Mess", "One Hot Pleasure", “Party People (Ignite The World),” “Painkillr”, “Crazy,” and most recently, “How Many F—ks.”
The impressive musical feats don't stop there. In June 2010, "Pretty Mess" moved ahead of Lady Gaga's "Alejandro," as well as Usher’s "OMG" (featuring will.i.am), and the Black Eyed Peas' "Rock That Body." And 2011's "One Hot Pleasure" even clocked in before Katy Perry’s “Peacock” and Rihanna’s “Only Girl (In The World).” Along the way, she's crisscrossed the globe on tour several times, including headlining the nation’s hottest clubs and festivals through her own label, Pretty Mess Records. Today, Jayne is ranked #42 on Billboard’s 100 Greatest of All Time Dance Club Artists.
"This has exceeded my expectations wildly," the Atlanta-bred, Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter says with her trademark sexy southern charm. It's beyond flattering. And it's so satisfying to know that I did it on my own with my own record label. And it just makes me want to push it further and keep evolving as an artist."
In 2015, Jayne made her national television debut in the hit Bravo series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Joining famous cast members like Kyle Richards and Yolanda Hadid, Erika became the undisputed breakout star and fan favorite of the series’ 6th season. The LA Times pegged her as their “latest reality TV obsession” and Cosmopolitan described her as “the baddest bitch in the game.” America fell in love with the ultra fabulous Erika Jayne in just one season and now she’s become the new staple of Beverly Hills.
In the spring of 2016, Jayne released “How Many F—ks,” a cheeky, in-your-face dance single all about making no apologies for being who you are – none, not one. The track, which became Jayne’s 9th #1 on Billboard, was co-written with hit maker Justin Tranter (Selena Gomez, Gwen Stefani, Justin Bieber), and quickly became a 2016 summer anthem.
"I love performing live – the people, the places, the energy of it all. The new show is very sexy and glam. It's class and ass," she quips.
In February of 2017, Erika released her latest single “XXPEN$IVE,” which was trending on iTunes on it’s first day. A month after its release, Erika debuted her single to the world in her first performance on the 25th season of Dancing With The Stars. Erika’s bold personality and fearlessness captivated America and inspired women to stay true to themselves and of course, to always embrace their sexiness.
Currently, you can catch Erika gearing up for Season 8 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
