Nandi Bushell is an 11-year-old personality and musical extraordinaire. An accomplished musician at such a young age, she challenged David Grohl to a drum battle, which culminated in a special surprise performance with the Foo Fighters at The Forum in Los Angeles.

Nandi has since garnered a huge following, with her rendition of “In Bloom” by Nirvana receiving more than 10 million Twitter views, as well as her rock ’n’ roll spin on classic hip-hop and pop anthems including Kanye West’s “Jesus Walks” and Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk.” Her extraordinary talent has caught the attention of other famous musicians including Lenny Kravitz, Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Flea, in addition to Questlove.

Nandi has collaborated with such companies as Cartoon Network, Airbnb, ASUS, and Disney Channel. She can also be seen in Amazon Prime’s adaption of Cinderella, in Rolling Stone, and on the cover of Modern Drummer.

Additionally, Nandi and Tom Morello’s son Roman Morello wrote and performed their own song and video, "The Children Will Rise Up," to warn of climate change. The video featured Tom Morello, Jack Black, and Greta Thunberg. President Barack Obama used the piece at the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference to encourage young people to continue to advocate for climate change prevention.
