As one of the most recognizable personalities in media, Nick Cannon has entertained audiences across film, television and the stage for nearly 20 years. The talented artist continues to dominate all facets of entertainment as a comedian, host, actor, writer, director, executive producer, DJ, philanthropist and children’s book author.

Notably, Cannon serves as Chairman and development consultant for TeenNick, earning him the title of “youngest TV chairman in history.” As Chairman, Cannon not only has an on-screen presence, but lends his creative vision to the network’s development slate and works behind-the-scenes to execute new ideas across multiple platforms.

On the big screen, Cannon was recently featured in Roadside/Amazon Studios’ critically acclaimed film Chi-Raq, directed by Spike Lee. In addition to playing the lead role of ‘Chi-Raq’ in the film, Cannon co-wrote and performed the opening song.

As the former host of NBC’s highly successful talent competition series America’s Got Talent, Cannon hosted over 200 episodes. Additionally, Cannon is the creator, producer, and host of the highly successful and fan favorite MTV show, Wild ‘N Out, which returned for its 8th season Summer 2016. Recently, he documented a cross country tour with select Wild ‘N Out comics and improvisers in the MTV2 show, Wild ‘N on Tour.

In partnership with NBCUniversal, Cannon also hosts the reality show Caught on Camera with Nick Cannon, where viewers are given a comedic look into hijinks captured on cell phones, dash cams, security cameras and more. Prior to this, Cannon debuted his first studio film, School Dance, which he wrote, directed and produced.

The actor made his first feature film appearance alongside Will Smith and Academy Award-winning actor Tommy Lee Jones in Men in Black II. He then went on to star in the coming-of-age cult classic Drumline opposite Zoe Salanda and Leonard Roberts. In the film Cannon plays ‘Devon Miles,’ a Harlem street drummer recruited to join a prestigious marching band at a historically black Southern university. Cannon also starred in the Golden Globe nominated film Bobby — the gripping tale surrounding the aftermath of President John F. Kennedy’s assassination.

Ever at the vanguard of entertainment and innovation, Cannon leads a highly successful multi-media company NCredible Entertainment. Under this banner, Cannon produces Nickelodeon’s Make It Pop, TeenNick Top 10, React To That and the HALO Awards, which profiles teens making a difference in their communities.

Furthermore, Cannon is a passionate philanthropist who dedicates his time, resources and voice to giving back to those in need. He has worked with nationally recognized organizations such as Feeding America, Boys and Girls Club, Do Something, Toys for Tots, Stomp Out Bullying, Lupus Foundation of America, The National Kidney Foundation, and is an active member on the Board of Directors of New York’s St. Mary’s Children’s Hospital.

Cannon established the Nick Cannon Foundation as the philanthropic arm of his global business endeavors. The foundation has a strategic goal of empowering underserved youth economically through entrepreneurship education, workforce development, and exposing youth to the business side of the multi-billion-dollar media/entertainment industry.

As a teenager, Cannon moved to Hollywood where he landed gigs at renowned comedy venues including The Improv, The Laugh Factory and The Comedy Store. His very first television appearance was as a series regular and writer on Nickelodeon’s long-running hit series All That, which made him the youngest staff writer in television history. This path led to the creation of The Nick Cannon Show, which he starred in, directed and executive produced.
