Infielder, Texas Rangers
Todd Frazier is an infielder for the Texas Rangers of the Major League. Throughout his nine year professional career, Frazier has spent time as a member of the Cincinnati Reds, Chicago White Sox, New York Yankees, New York Mets and currently the Texas Rangers.
Frazier's baseball career started as a young kid. At the age of 12, Frazier was a star on the Toms River East American Little League All-Star team that won the New Jersey state championship and then the US East regional championship, to advance to the 1998 Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Frazier led Toms River in the World Championship game going 4-4 with a lead off home run and recorded the games final out while pitching.
Frazier burst on to the scene with the Cincinnati Reds his rookie season. He quickly became an important piece of their offense as well as a beloved member off the field. In 2014 Frazier was named to his first MLB All-Star Team which would be taking place in his team's city of Cincinnati. Frazier went on to make it to the finals of the 2014 Home Run Derby in front of his home fans.
In 2017 Frazier was able to return home when he was traded to the New York Yankees. As expected he quickly became a fan favorite and played a key emotional and leadership role in the Yankees post season run.
