Trevante Rhodes starred in the Barry Jenkins film Moonlight, produced Plan B and A24, which was released in theaters October 2016. The film won the Golden Globe for Best Picture - Drama and the Academy Awards for Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay.
Trevante earned nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture and the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture.
He will next be seen in the Terrence Malick film Weightless and the Netflix film Burning Sands, produced by Reggie Hudlin. Trevante played supporting roles in the independent films, The Night Is Young, Smart Ass and Shangri-La Suite.
His television credits include a recurring role in the Tyler Perry series If Loving You is Wrong, the HBO series Westworld and the A&E pilot The Infamous.
