Biography

Aristotle Athari is a Middle Eastern-American comedian, actor, writer, director, and podcaster. He was named one of Just For Laugh’s New Faces in 2021 and is also the most recent featured player on Saturday Night Live’s 47th season.

Shortly after getting his start in stand-up comedy, he began writing, performing, and directing sketches with future collaborates Hasan Minhaj, Asif Ali, and Fahim Anwar to form Goatface – the first and only sketch comedy show on Comedy Central to feature an all-Muslim-American cast to date.

Aristotle has since directed stand-up specials that have aired on Comedy Central, Showtime, and NBC. He also directed all of Will Smith's Snapchat series, Will From Home.

In 2019, Aristotle was cast as “Gabe” in the final season of Silicon Valley. He also co-hosts the This American Laugh podcast, an improvised parody of This American Life, alongside Andy Harris on Will Ferrell’s Big Money Players Podcast network, airing on iHeartRadio.
