Avan Jogia will next be seen starring opposite Krysten Ritter in the upcoming AMC spinoff series Orphan Black: Echoes. He recently starred in the feature Choose Love for Netflix, the streamer’s first interactive rom-com. Avan made his feature writing/directing debut with Door Mouse, starring Hayley Law, Keith Powers, and Famke Janssen. Avan’s feature acting credits include Johnny & Clyde starring opposite Megan Fox; Sony’s latest Resident Evil reboot;  Zombieland 2 opposite Emma Stone, Bill Murray, and Woody Harrelson for director Ruben Fleischer and Sony; Shaft for New Line; The Exchange for director Dan Mazer; The Artist’s Wife opposite Lena Olin; The New Romantic which premiered at SXSW; Paper Year opposite Eve Hewson; A Midsummer Night’s Dream alongside Lily Rabe, Finn Wittrock, Hamish Linklater and Fran Kranz; I Am Michael and Ten Thousand Saints which both premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Avan’s past television credits include the Starz series Now Apocalypse created by Gregg Araki; The Stranger for Quibi, written and directed by Veena Sud; Ghost Wars for Netflix opposite Vincent D’Onofrio; and Tut as King Tutankhamun opposite Sir Ben Kingsley for Spike TV. Avan published his first book entitled Mixed Feelings: Poems and Stories, in which he explores emotions around race, identity, religion and family.
