Stand-Up Comedian and Actor

As one of today’s most prolific stand-up comedians, Dane Cook has also distinguished himself as a versatile actor in a variety of film and television projects.
Known for his legendary specials, unparalleled stage presence, and outrageous observational humor, Cook is in a league of his own. He has over 30 years of performing under his belt and a bountiful catalogue of content streamed over a billion times. His record-breaking releases include Troublemaker, Vicious Circle, Isolated Incident, Harmful if Swallowed, Retaliation, Tourgasm, and Rough Around the Edges: Live from Madison Square Garden. He became only the second comedian in history - after Andrew Dice Clay - to sell out multiple shows at Madison Square Garden. His album Retaliation became the highest-charting comedy release on Billboard since Steve Martin’s A Wild and Crazy Guy in 1978 - and the first-ever double comedy album to go double platinum.
Cook released his comedy special, Above It All, which quickly soared to the top of the comedy album charts. Above It All, for which Cook reteamed with famed director Marty Callner, debuted with an unforgettable premiere event at the World Famous TCL Chinese Theatre.
Cook later partnered with Super Channel to produce a documentary on his life.
In addition to stand-up comedy, he is known for his various acting roles in movies such as My Best Friend’s Girl, Dan in Real Life, Employee of the Month, Good Luck Chuck, and Waiting. Additionally, Dane can be seen starring in the Lionsgate fast-paced thriller, American Exit, based on a true story about a dying man’s attempt to reconnect and bond with his estranged son (Levi Miller, A Wrinkle in Time), as well as the critically acclaimed Starz series, American Gods, in a standout role opposite Betty Gilpin and Ricky Whittle.
On the film side, Cook directed, co-wrote, produced, and starred in American Typecast, a short film that follows a Middle Eastern actor, Malik Khan, as he attempts to acclimate to the entertainment industry and seeks to break through his racial stereotype while struggling to stay afloat as a working actor. The film was accepted into a number of film festivals, including the Los Angeles Shorts International Film Festival, the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, and the HollyShorts Film Festival.
On the animation front, Cook voiced the role of “Dusty” in Disney’s critical and commercial hit Planes, as well as the sequel, Planes: Fire & Rescue, which grossed over $219 million domestically and $145 million worldwide.
Cook currently resides in Los Angeles, where he continues to craft new stand-up material and expand his film and television projects.
Before he was selling out Madison Square Garden, Dane Cook was performing stand-up in laundromats, comedy clubs, and anywhere people would listen. Long before "personal branding" and the creator economy became business buzzwords, he built a loyal following by doing something deceptively simple: telling the truth.
In this hilarious and surprisingly insightful keynote, Dane shares how authenticity became his greatest competitive advantage. Through laugh-out-loud stories about bombing on stage, navigating career setbacks, building one of the largest fan communities in entertainment, and turning everyday frustrations into unforgettable stories, he reveals why people connect with honesty far more than perfection.
