Eunique Jones Gibson is a cultural architect, brand builder, and storyteller whose revolutionary campaigns have created global movements.
In 2013, Eunique launched Because of Them, We Can® (BOTWC), an award-winning campaign that helps people reimagine their possibilities. Founded during Black History Month with a mission to empower the next generation to honor the legacy of their ancestors, the multimedia platform has evolved into a global megaphone for Black Excellence. Keeping with the goal of refuting stereotypes and connecting the dots between the past, present, and future, BOTWC recently received an honorable mention in Fast Company's 2023 World Changing Ideas Awards in the media and entertainment category.
With her 15+ years experience as a leading marketer and communications expert, Eunique formed Culture Brands in 2017. It’s an innovative agency that creates culturally relevant and affirming campaigns and content for some of the world’s leading brands. The agency, where Eunique serves as the CEO & Chief Creative Officer, made history when they were named the first African American agency of record for Hyundai Motor America.
Eunique's unapologetic commitment to representation and the celebration of culture and community is also evident in the consumer products she has created. She recently established The Happy Hues Company, an inclusive baby essentials company focused on building a better world by nurturing happy and healthy babies from the inside out. The company launched in 2023 with its flagship product- Big-ups training pants and has since expanded its line to include diapers and wipes called “Wipe Me Downs.” If products were like album releases, Big-ups would be Eunique's sophomore album, but her introduction to the retail space began when she created the instant viral game #CultureTags. The game, which is available at Target stores, encapsulates the joy and nostalgia of the Black experience and was named one of America's Hottest brands by Ad Age.
A proud graduate of Bowie State University and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, where was a past National Second Vice President and is currently a member of the National Communications and Public Relations Committee.
