J.J. Redick is the head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers, a veteran NBA player, and co-founder of ThreeFourTwo Productions. After 15 seasons playing in the NBA, Redick announced his retirement from the league on September 21, 2021. He played for six teams in his NBA career and spent his final season with the New Orleans Pelicans and Dallas Mavericks. He averaged 12.8 points in 940 regular-season games, and his 1,950 career 3-pointers rank 15th in NBA history.
In 2006, J.J. was selected 11th overall in the NBA Draft by the Orlando Magic. He spent the first seven seasons of his career in Orlando, followed by stints with the Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Clippers, and Philadelphia 76ers. In 2019, Redick signed a two-year deal with the New Orleans Pelicans and joined the Dallas Mavericks in March 2021. J.J. famously played college basketball for the Duke Blue Devils, where he remains the all-time leading scorer and holds several school records, including most points in a single season. His jersey was retired by Duke in 2007, making him just the 13th player in program history to receive that honor.
