Emmy nominee Jonathan Bailey is a critically acclimated actor known for dynamic performances across film, television, and theater.
Currently, Bailey can be seen starring alongside Matt Bomer in the Showtime miniseries from Ron Nyswaner, Fellow Travelers, based on the 2007 novel of the same name by Thomas Mallon. Bailey earned an Emmy nomination and a Critics Choice Award for his performance as Tim Laughlin, also lovingly known as “Skippy.” The Golden Globe-nominated series follows a decades-long romance between two men who first meet during the height of McCarthyism in the 1950s.
Bailey can be seen portraying Fiyero in Universal’s highly anticipated Wicked: Part One, starring alongside Michelle Yeoh, Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, and Jeff Goldblum. Also from Universal, Bailey is currently in production on Jurassic World, leading the film alongside Scarlett Johansson. Bailey will return to the West End in Richard II, portraying the titular role.
In 2022, Bailey starred in the second season of Bridgerton, from the prolific Shondaland, which broke Netflix’s record for most viewed English title in a week. He can currently be seen reprising his role as Anthony Bridgerton in the third season.
