Biography

Parker Posey recently starred in the third season of Mike White’s Emmy Award-winning HBO series, The White Lotus. She began production on Martin McDonagh’s Wild Horse Nine for Searchlight, alongside Sam Rockwell and Steve Buscemi. 

Previously, Posey received an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her role in Amazon Prime Video’s Mr. & Mrs. Smith alongside Donald Glover and Maya Erskine. The show was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series, Drama, and was recognized as one of AFI’s Television Programs of the Year. She also starred in HBO’s Emmy Award-nominated limited series, The Staircase, directed by Antonio Campos.  

Parker also recently starred in the critically acclaimed independent feature, Thelma, opposite June Squibb. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and went on to be nominated for a Critics' Choice Award for Best Comedy and was chosen by the National Board of Review as one of the Top 10 Independent Films of the year. Parker also starred in Ari Aster’s Beau Is Afraid opposite Joaquin Phoenix for A24.
