Host, Comedy Central's "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah"

Trevor Noah is a South African comedian, writer, and television personality who currently hosts Comedy Central’s Emmy and Peabody Award-winning variety program, "The Daily Show."

Noah began his career in South Africa as a popular stand-up comedian, and gained notoriety as host of his own show, "Tonight with Trevor Noah." His massive following overseas transitioned seamlessly to the U.S., where he developed a fan base as a correspondent on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart." In 2015, after John Stewart’s retirement, Noah took over the show.

"The Daily Show with Trevor Noah" has been nominated for Best Variety Series/Talk Show by a host of associations, and in 2017, Noah won the Primetime Emmy Award for Best Short Form Variety Series for his YouTube special, "The Daily Show: Between the Scenes."

Noah has been featured in such media publications as Rolling Stone, Newsweek, and The Wall Street Journal.

Noah’s memoir, "Born A Crime: Stories From a South African Childhood," became a #1 New York Times Bestseller and was named one of the best books of the year by The New York Times, Newsday, Esquire, NPR, and Booklist. It was recently announced the book will be adapted into a film with Lupita Nyong’o staring as Trevor's mother Patricia. Lupita will also co-produce the film alongside Noah.

Noah has written and starred in a number of stand-up specials including "African American" on Showtime, "Lost in Translation" on Comedy Central, and "Afraid of the Dark" on Netflix. He continues to tour worldwide performing stand-up.
