Reviews

When you need someone to captivate a room and compel them to invest in girls and women, Alaa Murabit delivers and then some. She’s witty, sharp and on the mark.

CEO, Women Deliver

During Dr. Alaa Murabit’s keynote speech, something very special happened, something that I have never witnessed since I started here in 2012, every student was genuinely engaged. They laughed, applauded multiple times during the speech and enthusiastically nodded their heads as she spoke a truth that resonated deeply. At the end of the talk students raced to the front of the room to introduce themselves and take selfies with her – treating this brilliant woman, whose mission is to more or less save the world, like she was Beyoncé – it was truly magnificent and inspiring.
