    Joanne Ramos is a writer. Her novel The Farm was a national bestseller and was translated into eleven different languages. It was long-listed for the Center of Fiction’s 2019 First Novel Prize. Joanne currently serves on the board of The Moth and lives in New York City with her family. Before turning to writing, Joanne worked in investment banking and private-equity investing, and was a staff writer at The Economist.
