Former FBI Special Agent

Nicole Parker is a former Special Agent (SA) with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). In this role Ms. Parker was responsible for investigating violations of Title 18 of the United States Code of Laws and other federal criminal statutes. She began her training in August 2010 at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia. Upon her graduation, in January 2011 she then reported to the FBI's Miami Division. She served in Miami from January 2011 through October 2022.
Ms. Parker spent the first four years of her FBI career working Securities Fraud cases – investigating multi-million-dollar Ponzi schemes, money laundering, embezzlements and more. In January 2015 she transferred to Violent Crime, where she worked myriad high-profile cases: The Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Florida; the 2017 Fort Lauderdale Airport shooting; the Cesar Sayoc pipe bomb case; crimes on the high-seas; Hobbs Act violations; bank robberies; murders for hire; suspicious deaths; sexual assaults; extortions and more.
Ms. Parker was the only female Special Agent on the FBI's number one ranked Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force in the United States.
Additionally, during this time she served as the Crimes on the High Seas Coordinator, where she was the primary investigator of alleged crimes occurring on cruise ships arriving to/departing from the Port of Miami and Port Everglades. In this position she became the FBI’s subject matter expert on high seas crime and trained employees from each of the major cruise lines regarding crime scene preservation, reporting and the Cruise Vessel Security and Safety Act.
Around September 2019 Ms. Parker focused on combating Human Trafficking of both adults and minors. She gathered intelligence, brought awareness and built relationships and partnerships with non-government agencies. Additionally, she recruited sources to report on both sex and labor trafficking activities. During Super Bowl LIV she participated on sting operations to assist with successfully bringing traffickers to justice.
During the course of her FBI career Ms. Parker conducted countless arrests, witness interviews, subject interrogations leading to confessions, and testified in federal judicial proceedings – resulting in the successful prosecution of numerous criminal offenders. She executed a multitude of search warrants, spent hundreds of hours doing surveillance, witnessed autopsy, liaised with various law enforcement agencies worldwide, and took on the most difficult task of conducting death notifications. She also volunteered to assist other squads with operations involving health care fraud, public corruption, drug and gang activity, cybercrime, counterterrorism, etc.
Along with her diverse investigative responsibilities Ms. Parker served in ancillary roles such as Assistant Special Event Coordinator for FBI Miami as well as a Phase II Testing Assessor for new SA candidates. She has received a plethora of awards, including three “Law Enforcement Officer of the Year” awards given by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of Florida. She also earned several FBI Achievement Awards from the FBI Miami Field Office. Lastly, she was honored with the FBI Director's Medal of Excellence award.
Prior to her FBI career Ms. Parker worked at the multi-billion-dollar hedge fund, Canyon Partners, LLC which was based in Los Angeles, as a Manager of Investor Relations (2007- 2009). Before that she worked at Banc of America Securities, LLC in New York, as a Vice President in their Prime Brokerage unit (2005-2007). Previous to that she assisted her father in starting a Communications Consulting practice in Houston (2004). From 2000 to 2003 she worked at Merrill Lynch and Co., Inc. in New York, as an Investment Associate in Private Wealth Management; as an Executive Assistant in the Office of the Chairman of Merrill Lynch International, Winthrop H. Smith, Jr.; and as a Recruiting Coordinator. While employed at Merrill Lynch Ms. Parker attained her Series 7 and Series 63 securities licenses.
Ms. Parker experienced a life-changing event while at work in Manhattan’s World Financial Center on September 11, 2001, as she witnessed firsthand the World Trade Center attack and saw up close the horrors of that day. This experience motivated her to find a significant way to give back to her country. Before the decade was up, she left the lucrative finance industry and applied to be a Special Agent for the FBI.
Ms. Parker grew up in Houston, where she graduated from high school at age 16, then earned a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. She’s an avid runner and has completed eight full marathons, including Boston, New York, Chicago and others. She has enjoyed volunteering with the Sunshine Kids Foundation assisting children with cancer, as well as the Make-a-Wish Foundation. She also served as President of the youth program at her church in Miami Beach, Florida.
