Biography

As a stand-up, actor, writer, and presenter, Jack Whitehall has firmly established himself as one of the UK's most exciting and successful comedy talents. A statement cemented by his People's Choice Award for the King of Comedy at the 2012 and 2013 British Comedy Awards.

In 2014, Jack completed his first solo stand-up arena tour, “Jack Whitehall Gets Around.” Jack's debut stand-up show was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2009, and he was nominated for Best Male Comedy Breakthrough Artist at the British Comedy Awards 2010.

In addition to hosting Backchat with Jack Whitehall and His Dad on BBC 3, Jack's television appearances include performing as a regular on A League of Their Own, which was awarded a BAFTA for Best Comedy Entertainment Programme, Rise and Fall, Bad Education, Stand up for the Week, hosting 2009's Celebrity Big Brother's Big Mouth and guest appearances on shows including Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Have I Got News for You and 8 Out of 10 Cats.
