For almost 20 years, this licensed Psychotherapist, Media Personality, wife and devoted mother of seven has delivered the answers to some of life’s most challenging questions. Her down to earth approach promotes empathy and understanding, while eliminating the stigma commonly associated with life’s most challenging issues.
Spirit’s quick-witted approach and practical advice makes her an instant favorite among audience members and production teams alike. In addition to holding a B.S. in Psychology, a M.A. in Professional Counseling, an MPhil and a PhD in Psychology with a specialization in Research Methods and Evaluation, Spirit a National Board Certified Counselor (NCC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator (CFMHE), certified Parenting Coordinator (PC), Ordained Marriage Officiant and Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Facilitator.
In addition to her work in television and radio, Spirit is also the Owner and Clinical Director of the group mental health practice T2S Enterprises, LLC based in Atlanta, GA. She works with couples, men and women, adolescents, youth and families as a therapist, researcher, motivational speaker, and workshop facilitator. Spirit’s specialties include: race relations and social justice, parenting and family issues, relationship intimacy, and educating the public on mental health and wellness in a way that is informative, engaging, and easy to understand.
