Biography

Swedish four-piece Little Dragon - spearheaded by dynamic vocalist
Yukimi Nagano, multi-instrumentalists Håkan Wirenstrand & Fredrik
Wallin on keyboards & bass respectively, with drums & percussion
by Erik Bodin - are one of the world’s most beloved bands. Earlier
this year they released Lover Chanting EP, a 3 track EP selfproduced
by the band in Gothenburg and they are now due to
release their brand new single ‘Tongue Kissing’ as well as embark
on their headline European tour playing London’s Brixton O2
Academy (5000 cap) with stops in Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels,
Stockholm and more followed by 22 dates across North America.


With five unique yet distinct studio albums ranging from their 2007
self-titled debut, the sophomore avant-garde electronic pop of
Machine Dreams to must-have breakthrough Ritual Union, then
GRAMMY-nominated Nabuma Rubberband followed by 2017’s
critically acclaimed stunner Season High, Little Dragon have
pioneered their own multi-genre space by writing timeless,
impeccably produced songs & delivering knockout live shows.


Their catalogue bursts with an impressive list of collaborations.
Yukimi has lent her trademark vocals to Gorillaz, Flume, SBTRKT,
Kaytranada, Christian Rich, De La Soul, DJ Shadow, Tinashe,
Mac Miller, Big Boi, Faith Evans, and ODESZA. The band has
remixed Rhye, Childish Gambino & more. Additionally, artists such
as NAO, Lianne La Havas, Nick Mulvey and Rosie Lowe all have
covered Little Dragon. “Tried”, their recent collaboration with
BADBADNOTGOOD received great support from the likes of
Pitchfork, The FADER, NPR Annie Mac and more.


Single ‘Lover Chanting’ has over 4.4M combined streams and
received strong press support from 90+ sites including Pitchfork,
The FADER, Rolling Stone, FACT, DIY, The Line of Best Fit,
CLASH, Stereogum. It was Annie Mac’s ‘First Play’ on BBC
Radio 1 as well as her ‘Tune of the Week’, reached #1 on Radio 1
Hype Chart, #4 on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic and #1
on KCRW Music Top 30. The official video directed by Jack
Whiteley has over 3.8M views and received pick up from 60+ sites

Saves The Day, Melt and Dour are just a few of the festivals
played in their decade-plus career. Earlier this year, Little Dragon
co-headlined Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl and Berkeley’s Greek
Theatre with Flying Lotus supported by BADBADNOTGOOD and
sold out two nights at London’s Roundhouse. In 2018 they sold
out their entire North American headline tour including two nights
at Elsewhere in Brooklyn, two nights at Rock & Roll Hotel in DC and
an arena show supporting Gorillaz in Boston. Little Dragon
returned to London in November to headline Printworks and
rounded out the year in Los Angeles with Tyler the Creator’s
Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival at Dodger Stadium.
