Miyu is a globally renowned house dancer who began her dance journey at the age of 8. At 19, she achieved the pinnacle of her career by winning the "JUSTE DEBOUT 2017 WORLD FINAL," the world's premier battle competition, and has since secured numerous titles in battles both domestically and internationally. In 2022, she received the “Dance Creator of the Year” award at the TikTok Awards Japan. Also in 2022, Miyu was selected as the only Japanese civilian crew member, among more than one million global applicants, to join the backup crew for the “dearMoon” project, the first planned civilian lunar mission led by Yusaku Maezawa and SpaceX.
Most recently, she was selected by Bruno Mars, after being discovered on Instagram, to perform with him in a Japanese TV commercial for Don Quijote (Donki), a major Japanese mega-retail chain.
Aiming to expand her horizons and elevate the societal status of dancers, Miyu has engaged in various activities across multiple fields. These include hosting solo performances at Cotton Club Tokyo, releasing visual works, conducting workshops and lectures in educational and public settings, and participating as a model and in advertisements for numerous fashion brands.
From battle stages to brand campaigns, Miyu continues to challenge norms and expand the creative potential of movement—on a mission to inspire the next generation of artists, dreamers, and change-makers.
